Sea town extension
Den första Svenska tävlingstomten är klar, och den ligger i Simrishamns kommun. Tomten ligger i direkt anslutning till den gamla stadskärnan, och består ett tidigare sjukhusområde och en kustremsa mot Östersjön. Uppgiften är att planera för ett stadsområde med nutida arkitektur som samtidigt anknyter till traditionen av den befintliga staden, samt att utveckla ett rekreationsområde längs kustremsan. The first Swedish competition site is set, situated in the municipality of Simrishamn. The site is in direct contact with the old town centre, and consists of a previous hospital area and a coastal strip towards the Baltic Sea. The task is to plan for an urban area with contemporary architecture but which connects to the tradition of the present town, and also to develop a recreational area along the coastal strip.
